EVERY ENDING is a NEW BEGINNING!

Thanksgiving is now gone. The year of 2024 is almost over and soon it will be gone too.

We are a couple weeks away from Christmas, and then suddenly, a New Year will begin. In the busy-ness of the holidays, we remember that Christmas represents the birth of Christ. If only we could focus on the new life we are given through the birth of Jesus the Son of God, we could all have a more peaceful existence.

Do we need to wait until January 1st for our New Beginning?

Frequently, a lot of us ask when will the hectic time of life be over. The majority of humanity seems to be hoping, wanting, and needing to begin again, start over, or get a New Beginning.

Enterprise Community Congregational Church is showing in our members and attendees the seeing, hearing, feeling, of their New Beginnings individually. Their own personal relationships with Christ are developing and it is an awesome thing to be part of.

The birth of Jesus is part of connecting with God and the fulfillment of the promise of “the Prince of Peace” to Israel in Isaiah 9:6.

This opens the door for peace. Next, we find that “the peace that surpasses all understanding” from Philippians 4:7, can be ours here and now. Paul prayed that for the church in Philippi. That is the door that is opening to us today at ECCC. We each can have a New Beginning daily and show that living hope.

Because seeing is believing, we invite you to come as you are because we are your neighbor. Check us out.

The Prince of Peace was promised, and that promise was fulfilled because God does not break His promises.

Other promises were made from God too. Jesus promised the disciples and to us in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” This peace is part of what’s happening at ECCC today.

The word of God is available to us every day!

Blessings, Pastor John
